The JACK A5E-B-H-7 is the heavy-material subclass of Jack's flagship A5E computerized lockstitch platform — the same fully-automatic, direct drive machine, reconfigured from the factory for extra-thick and heavy work. Where the standard A5E is tuned for general apparel, the -H-7 subclass ships with a DP×5 (#18-21) large-gauge needle, a longer 7 mm maximum stitch length, and a top speed set to 3,500 stitches per minute — the combination that lets it sew thick denim, canvas, vinyl, footwear, and disposable slippers cleanly instead of straining on them.

What makes this machine unusual for heavy work is that it keeps Jack's A.M.H Fabric Adaptive System. The Octopus Nine-brain AI chip reads the material in real time — 200,000 stored fabric data models, computing 10,000 times per second — and automatically balances feed force against needle penetration force as the thickness changes under the foot. On heavy work that means crossing thick seams and layer changes without skipped stitches or manual adjustment: the machine feels the seam coming and adapts before the needle hits it.

Power comes from the Vigorously Ape direct drive motor, which develops 8.4 N·m of torque — about 15% more than a same-size conventional motor — the low-end grunt that drives a large needle through stacked heavy material. It is a genuinely fully automatic machine: automatic thread trimmer, automatic presser foot lifter, automatic backtack, and needle positioning, all controlled from the panel.
