The JACK® JK-300L is a gravity feed steam iron — the pressing standard in tailoring shops, alteration counters, and garment factories, because it solves the one problem every self-contained steam iron has: running out of water. A 4-liter bottle hangs above the workstation and feeds the iron by gravity through a 1.8 m hose, so the operator gets continuous steam through an entire shift without stopping to refill a reservoir every few garments.

Steam is delivered through an aluminum alloy soleplate with 18 steam holes, which spreads heat and moisture evenly instead of concentrating it in a strip down the middle. A 5-position temperature dial covers synthetics, silk, wool, cotton, and linen, and a burst steam function drives moisture into set-in creases that ordinary steaming will not lift.

This is sold as a complete set, not a bare iron. It ships with the iron rest so the hot soleplate never sits on the work surface, the gravity bottle with its mounting hardware and water connections, a Teflon shoe that slips over the soleplate to press dark and delicate fabrics without shine or scorch marks, and a water filter to keep mineral deposits out of the steam chamber — the single biggest cause of premature failure and of spitting brown water onto a finished garment.
