The SPEEDWAY SW-28BL-20 is a 2-needle, extra-heavy-duty long arm walking foot industrial lockstitch machine built for the heaviest work in the shop — sails, tarpaulins, truck covers, tents, awnings, thick leather, and multi-layer upholstery. Two parallel needles lay down two locked seams in a single pass, and the 20-inch (508 mm) long arm opens up enough throat space to feed bulky, pre-assembled, and rolled material that simply won't fit through a standard machine.

This machine is built around a Japanese hook and Japanese sewing components — the parts that take the punishment on extra-heavy work. Each needle runs its own extra-large vertical-axis hook with reservoir oiling, so the machine holds timing and stitch quality through #8 thread and dense, layered seams. The compound triple-feed system (bottom feed, needle feed, and walking foot top feed all moving in unison) drives thick, slippery, and coated materials through without shifting the layers — the difference between a clean double topstitch and a walked, puckered seam on tough goods.

Driven by a 900W servo motor for high torque at low speed, the SW-28BL-20 punches through 20 mm of material under the foot at up to 1,500 stitches per minute. It ships complete with industrial table and stand, ready to run.
