Walking Foot

Heavy or slippery materials that a regular feed can't move evenly: upholstery fabric, vinyl, leather, canvas and webbing. The foot “walks” with the needle and feed dogs so layers don't shift — which is why it's the standard machine for furniture, auto and marine work.
