Frequently asked

Does it arrive assembled?

Yes — we assemble, calibrate and test-stitch it in Miami before shipping. To protect the machine during freight, the head ships detached from the table; remounting takes minutes and we can walk you through it by phone.

Can I finance it?

Yes. You can split your purchase into monthly payments with Affirm (checking your rate takes seconds and won't affect your credit score), and Synchrony offers special financing on qualifying purchases (subject to credit approval). See your options on the financing page.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico?

Puerto Rico: yes. Freight is $150, and it's free on orders of $3,000 or more.
Alaska and Hawaii: parts and accessories ship there fine — USPS or UPS rates are calculated at checkout. But an industrial machine travels on a pallet by freight, and those two states can't be quoted automatically: get in touch before you order and we'll give you a firm price. +1 (954) 681-3894 or contact@suprasewing.com.

Warranty & support?

Yes — on top of the manufacturer's warranty, Supra Sewing backs your machine with our own coverage: 90 days on mechanical defects and 12 months on electrical & electronic parts (18 months on Speedway machines), serviced by our in-house techs in Miami, FL. Support in English & Spanish: +1 (954) 681-3894 or WhatsApp.

Description

The JUKI® MO-6804DD-150 is not a general-purpose serger with a rolled hem attachment bolted on. It is JUKI's dedicated rolled hemming subclass of the MO-6800 platform — built from the factory with a 1.5 mm overedging width, a fine DC×1 #8 needle, and a gauge set specified for extra-light to light fabrics. That combination is what produces the tight, narrow, evenly rolled edge that a 4 mm general-purpose machine simply cannot make, no matter how it is adjusted.

The narrow gauge is the whole point. On chiffon, georgette, voile, and fine silk, the fabric has to be folded downward and rolled into the stitch as the knife trims it — and the tighter the overedge width, the finer and rounder the finished hem. At 1.5 mm this machine puts the stitch where a scarf hem, a lingerie edge, or a ruffle actually needs it, running up to 7,000 stitches per minute on a direct drive motor.

Everything else is standard MO-6800 durability: automatic lubrication, a needle thread take-up that keeps tension even at speed, differential feed from 1:0.7 to 1:2 for stretching or gathering the edge deliberately, and a needle cooler and needle thread heat remover fitted as standard — which matters on synthetics, where a hot needle melts the very fabrics this machine is built for.

What's Included

  • JUKI® MO-6804DD-150 rolled hem overlock machine head (ships assembled)
  • Direct drive servo motor
  • Fully submerged industrial sewing table
  • Industrial stand
  • Rolled hem gauge set as specified for the subclass
  • Needles and standard accessories kit
  • Instruction manual

Key Features

  • Factory-built rolled hemming subclass — the narrow gauge, needle plate, and presser foot are specified together for rolled hemming folded downward. This is not a conversion of a general machine
  • 1.5 mm overedging width — the narrow gauge that produces a fine, tight, evenly rolled edge on sheer and lightweight fabric
  • DC×1 #8 fine needle — a needle small enough to pass through chiffon and fine silk without leaving visible perforations along the hem
  • Specified for extra-light to light materials — the machine is set up for the fabric weights where rolled hemming is actually used
  • 7,000 s.p.m. maximum speed — full production pace on long hem runs, scarves, and ruffle work
  • Direct drive motor — immediate response and precise low-speed control for starting and stopping cleanly on delicate edges, with no belt loss
  • Differential feed 1:0.7 to 1:2 — stretch the edge flat or gather it deliberately for lettuce hems and ruffles, adjusted by lever with micro-adjustment
  • Stitch length up to 3.8 mm with two rows of feed dog, set by push-button adjustment
  • Needle cooler and needle thread heat remover, standard — protects synthetic and fine fabric from a hot needle during sustained high-speed running
  • Automatic lubrication with JUKI Machine Oil 18, for long service life and clean seams
  • 6 mm presser foot lift and 63.7 N maximum presser foot pressure, adjustable for very light material
  • Micro-lifter available as an option — lifts the foot a minute amount to reduce load on delicate and shaggy fabrics

Ideal For

  • Scarves, shawls, pashminas, and stoles — the classic rolled hem application
  • Lingerie, sleepwear, and intimate apparel edges
  • Chiffon, georgette, voile, organza, and fine silk
  • Blouses, dresses, and eveningwear hems and flounces
  • Ruffles, flounces, and lettuce hems using differential feed
  • Bridal and formalwear finishing
  • Napkins, table linens, and fine home textiles
  • Dance and performance costume with sheer layered skirts
  • Any workroom currently fighting to get a narrow hem out of a 4 mm general-purpose serger
